4 THE LOVE OF CATS

Getting ready to adopt:

Adopting a cat is a big moment, and a little preparation goes a long way. Before bringing your new cat home, set up a food and water station, a litter tray in a quiet spot, a comfy bed, a scratching post, and a few toys. It’s also worth cat-proofing the house by tucking away loose cords, small objects, and any toxic plants.

On adoption day, bring a secure carrier for the trip home. Your cat will settle in faster with a calm, quiet space to start in rather than the run of the whole house straight away.

For food and litter, we feed Advance biscuits and use Horsemate litter from NQ Stock Feed, so starting adopters off on the same products can help ease the transition.
