Meet Wally: Wally came to us through the Cairns pound, but you only need to spend five minutes with him to know he has been loved before. Somebody taught this boy that people are safe, and he has never forgotten it.
He is a quiet gentleman on first meeting. He will hang back, take you in, and decide in his own time. That time is usually very short. Before long he has climbed into your lap, settled in, and started grooming your hand as though you were always his. It is the sweetest thing, and it is entirely on his terms, which somehow makes it feel like more of a gift.
That gentle nature is also why Wally needs a calmer household. Loud, busy homes overwhelm him, and he does his best loving in peace and quiet. Give him a soft place to land, a lap to claim, and someone who appreciates a devoted shadow, and Wally will give you everything he has.
