Eleanor is the sweetest biscuit in the tin, and we genuinely can’t work out how she slipped through the cracks. She came to us from the pound, and the moment you meet her you’re left wondering the same thing we are: how was a girl this gentle, this loving, this obviously cared for, not snapped up the second she landed there? Someone clearly adored her once. You can see it in the way she leans straight into your hands like she’s known you forever.

Smooching is her whole heart. It’s her favourite thing in the world, and she’ll do it endlessly, pressing her little face to your hands for pats, weaving around your ankles, asking for nothing more than to be close to her people. She’s quiet, she’s impossibly clean, and she carries herself with this soft, easy calm that fills a room without ever making a fuss.

There’s nothing complicated about what Eleanor needs. She just wants someone to love her, and to let her love them right back, for the rest of her days. She’s been waiting longer than a cat this wonderful ever should have. Let’s be the ones who finally get it right for her.
