Meet Bernie, a gorgeous brown tabby who has come all the way from Rockhampton, with people right across Australia supporting his journey to safety. He is yet another extremely affectionate guy in our care. He is loving, he is a chatterbox, and he has opinions about where you should be, which is wherever he is.
If you wander off, Bernie will call out for you to come back and love him. Do as you’re told and you’ll be rewarded with the full body roll, so you can love him from his nose to his tail. He’s currently sharing a space with another cat who has the same needs, and he tries to head bop Pasquale regularly, because he thinks Pasquale is the best thing since sliced bread.
Bernie is best as an only cat, or with a cat who has the same needs as him, and he has to be an inside only boy. He hasn’t been tested with dogs.
If you want a loud, loving shadow who will tell you all about his day and then flop over for belly rubs, Bernie is your man. Imagine coming home to a chatty welcome and a full body roll, every single time. We’d love to find him a home that gives all that love straight back.
